I specialize in Sex Therapy, Sex-and-Life Coaching, and psychotherapy, with an emphasis on human sexuality, evolutionary psychology, sexual/gender identities, and dealing with socially constructed gender roles. I work with trans and nonbinary issues and am a member of the Gender Dysphoria Affirmative Working Group, dedicated to broadbased affirmative treatment of gender diverse youth.
My formal research includes published studies of male clients of female sex workers, as well as studies of surgical interventions for trans youth and transwomen.
I am multi-lingual and speak/understand Swedish, French, Spanish, German, Polish, Italian and conversational Japanese. I have edited and translated journal articles, associate produced and provided subtitles to documentary films.
I also serve as an expert witness in cases related to trans discrimination and issues pertaining to the sex industry.
