The link to the conference was sent on Saturday (11/7) to everyone who has registered. If you've registered but not received that email, please check your spam/junk folder. The email title was "SSSS Virtual Conference NOW OPEN!" It was sent from firstname.lastname@example.org. If you still can't find the email, send a message to Dawn in the SSSS office (TheSociety@SexScience.org) for assistance.
Once you receive the email, it will contain login details to access the conference website where all of the on-demand content is located. The website includes a welcome letter, a schedule of events, info on the student social and SIGs, and some instructions and tips on accessing the on-demand content. The content itself can be found at the bottom of the page.
It’s ready for viewing now and we hope people enjoy viewing the nearly 200 brief communication videos, member posters, and CE workshops that are available! We also hope you’ll actively engage with the presenters by leaving comments. Note: To leave a comment or respond as a presenter, you have to create an account in Disqus, the chat forum embedded in the conference site. We hope you’ll find the system pretty intuitive, but if you get lost, tips can be found in the instruction guide. We’ve also heard that the system for viewing the on-demand content works best when using Chrome as a browser. If you run into snags, you might try Chrome to see if that helps.
Everyone who has registered for the conference will also have access to a mini film festival with 3 sexuality films from the St. Louis International Film Festival. You can rate each film and the winner will be announced at the end of our live conference on Nov 20!
Thanks and we look forward to “seeing” many of you next week at the live conference.
