PERFORMANCE / COURSEWORK REQUIREMENTS:

Meet the requirements for the Ph.D. degree in the graduate program of choice, including graduate-level training in research methods and data analysis techniques used in the discipline. As appropriate, student may study at one of the other participating institutions for two semesters/three quarters. Such study will be under the auspices of the Committee on Institutional Cooperation (CIC) Visiting Scholar program. This enables the students to learn theoretical perspectives and research methods not available at the home institution.
